As some others have said... The lag can be reduced and it becomes playable. I've won quite a few american muscle car races because the steering is responsive enough although it still has some lag.

I guess it would be even better with the community mods Bdigital mentions.

The team behind Shift 2 said the lag was due to publisher time constraints. In other words large corporations not giving a ****. Their current Project Cars has no steering lag and is very responsive.

Just a shame they can't accept new members now.

Both totally different mate. Hot pursuit is pick up and play, will work out of the box and be fun.

Shift 2 is get out what you put in (more involved but potentially more rewarding if you can be bothered!)

For anyone who wants it but hasn't bought it yet Steam have the Brave New World add on for Civ V at £13.39, I think to coincide with the flash sale of Civ V.

    I think it's a good deal?

    Tomb raider collection for £11.24

It's a daily deal, which I think means it won't be getting any cheaper? And to be fair, it can't get a lot cheaper, it's all 75% off.

It's a good deal but will you ever play any of the older ones? I tried III not that long ago having loved it in my youth and I just couldn't play it!

No idea, I've considered buying some of the newer ones before (Legend for instance), and it's pretty much the same price to buy them all than the newest + a couple of others.

Yeah I realised just as I posted but I hadn't time to correct myself, legend and Anniversary are both worth playing and I assume Underworld is too so you may as well get the whole pack!

Cheers everyone. It's been a while. And of course I come asking favours... ;)

Would someone from the UK be kind enough to gift me Dishonored? It's 5.09 GBP as opposed to 10.19 EUR, so just a bit over 42% cheaper (who'd have thought). I reimburse you through PayPal.

BTW, I'd thought there'd be a 100 new posts in this thread since Summer Sale started, but we're not even up to 15. Seems the sale isn't what it used to be.
