Hello guys, This log will be very quick as it is practically now completed and being leak tested. I was given this case and fans by Nanoxia, primarily to write a review, but they also wanted to see what could be done with a DS2 as they were convinced that only a slim 240mm rad could be mounted to the pre-existing shroud on the Hard drive cages. I thought, whilst i am at it, ill make a computer for my friend, who has always want a gaming system but never gotten around to actually getting one. First off i would like to say thanks to Nanoxia, Eddy, you are a star, thanks very much for letting me use this case and for the opportunities you have given me. Another Thank you to Pascal at Alphacool who has supplies all of the water cooling that i needed for this, thanks mate couldn't have been done without you! Cheers to Silverstone for supplying a 850w PSU which will have enough juice if another 680 is added a little later! The top fans are not bolted to the case but can breath due to the Drive bay covers being meshed and allowing for airflow. I will post up come more photos when it is finished and show where i have mounted the storage devices. BEWARE NERD PORN THE COOLER IS OFF!!!!
Wait... what? Of course there is copper in there, look at the fittings, the colour of the waterblocks, the sleeving, even the screws to bolt the fans to the radiator. Perhaps you need to adjust the colour settings on your monitor or something. Also, any build images/worklog?
I think he's referring to the HydroCopper waterblocks he's using in his build, though the words 'Hydro' and 'Copper' can be used for anything that includes water(cooling) and copper, which this does. I think the green fans look good with, especially as copper goes green when it oxidises.
