i49 Parvum / XSPC Mod I spoke to Justin from Parvum Systems a while back at a previous iseries about doing a system build using their chassis to go on our TCM Gaming booth at the summer Multiplay i49 LAN event and as it's literally only a couple of weeks away, thought i best get cracking. I've already seen and followed some epic system builds and project logs in these chassis from some of the modding greats such as Darthbeavis, imersa, Kier, l3p, BCMods, k3nny etc. etc. so if mine comes out half as good as any of these guys i will be absolutely over the moon. One thing i have noticed with all these fantastic Parvum builds presently kicking around the forums is that no two are alike and each one has their own unique style (especially Darths lol) so hope i can carry that through with mine and do something as spectacular and nice and clean watercooling wise. Anyway, if i could just start off by thanking in advance some of the people and companys involved as without them it wouldn't be possible.....Cheers for the continued support....... Parvum - Intel - Kingston - XSPC - OC3D - Coolermaster System Spec: Asus MAXIMUS V GENE Z77 Intel i7 2700K GTX670 Sli Kingston Hyper X 128GB SSD Kingston Hyper X Predator 36GB RAM Coolermaster SPH1050w PSU Gelid 120mm x 16mm Blue LED Fans Watercooling Spec: XSPC EX240 Rad XSPC EX360 Crossflow Rad Razor GTX670 GPU Blocks XSPC Photon 170 Tube Res Laing DDC Pump XSPC DDC Multiport Top 7/16" Masterkleer Hose This is a couple of teaser pictures that Parvum sent me of the top logo lit up and then the the motherboard tray I decided to mount the Kingston SSD on top of the case just back of the graphic card window so rather than send the panel back to Parvum to have the opening cut on the CNC, i decided to pull out the laser guided fret saw and cut an opening in the black layer so the SSD could fasten to the blue layer beneath so it fits recessed. I managed to find a 90° angled sata / power connector at Maplins of all places which keeps it all looking neat and tidy. Anyway, the next few are just some random pictures of basically seeing how things are going to fit before adding the actual hardware so thanks for looking and will update once there is something to update with
It is looking great. Nice colourscheme and nice hardware. Be carefull with their GTX670 warterblock though. I am using two and both needed modifications to fit different brand reference gfx cards. Good luck!
Can't wait to see it at LAN! Pleasure to have one of my all time favourite builders modding a Parvum.
i really wanna see how you are going to connect the 240mm at the front with the 360 at thte bottom, that looks darn tight !
Me, staying in on a Friday night..............never been known but sometimes needs must and as TTL at OC3D was good enough to cut his vacation at Hotel NHS short and hot tail it back home and next day me some hardware, i thought it was only right i stay home and try and do said hardware justice Anyway, yes i did have to employ a small child with very very small hands to link the hose between the two radiators and the tube res but he did a cracking job and all is well so 50p well spent Just busy fitting the GPU blocks and more will follow ASAP but again i'd like to thank TTL for sorting the hardware when he really should have been recuperating and looking after himself .....top man and i won't ever forget it. New cooling liquid is Bombay Sapphire BTW..........
I wish bombay sapphire was actually blue. was so dissapointed when i found out it wasn't :-( Oh, and nice work
Looking good mate! That connection from CPU to bottom rad is perfect! Look forward to seeing this in person! SLR at the ready.
Cheers guys Loving the minimalist look Just need to fill her up now and a few minor things to do then sort the internal lighting out so the logo's light up and good to go.
OMG so glad so see you back in action!!!!! I just happen to have the some bottle here but only about a seventh left . . . hope we can hang out some day Damn this is coming out beautifully.
Suppose the LAN is a little bit further to go for Richard! I'm sure we will all eventually cross paths however. Stoked for beers and to check out some fine rigs! LAN is fast approaching.
We want to visit over the pond so I can probably time it with a LAN - and then write off as a business expense?
I would love to see some B-Macig sleeve ! Its too black :/ Some blue mayhems would be the final touch too
