    Right. Where was I?
Oh right. I had fitted the modules and the waterblocks and then the light went dim outside :D
Well I took some photos to show you guys.
I will toss in another update right after, because I picked up something this morning and I just can't wait to show you guys :shaky:

btw the mobo is getting VERY heavy now. I hope this many waterblocks on there won't cause any trouble.

    :hehe:

Because I usually make a bit of a backlog so I can keep a constant flow of updates for the people that enjoy weekly updates. And when I have to wait for parts a few weeks my log doesn't die for weeks on end making people think it won't be finished.

You are correct, but I'd like to think of it as a....challenge :hehe: :D

since watercooling loops reaches a overall temperature and stabalizes it, it doesnt really matter where the rads are in the loop.. so he could just do this [IMG]

and having the tubes enter and leave from the top of the board and going around in a way the the tubes are hidden.

This project clearly doesn't have enough waterblocks.

i'd split that wc into two loops. one for each 2 cpu and 2 ram blocks.

    +1
Although its not an OC loop so the temps will be very low anyway with minimal thermal saturation.
I dont know enough about Opteron thermal dynamics to say much more, one loop is certainly do-able IMHO

I have actually done a few things but I have been away on holiday and I am also finishing my other project. I just ordered plexi panels and a lot of fillports and can go from there again. Due to a communication error I received the wrong radiators. EKWB were kind enough to replace these for the correct ones and they are also upgrading me to their newest black HD tubing fittings. So a small bit of delay. But in the end it will help the build.

Thank you very much my good sir.
I started on this quite recently. You're still in time to follow the maddness ;)

The tubes will indeed be routing over the top. Correct. But I will be using 2 separate loops.

    :D :thumb:

    Thanks JJ!

    Thanks for your input Ricardo.
So you would separate in a left and right loop (left and right side of the mobo)?
I was thinking cpus and ram separately because the ram modules are much higher placed. So I would have two separate loops in different depths of the view.

True. One loop is doable and has been done before. But the eye wants some candy as well :)
Plus I want to have some overhead for when possible AMD cards are added to the system as well.

The southbridge-ery looks left out. I say go with the spaghetti look- Run everything parallel!! A little red in the coolant, and it'll look like the inside of a tauntaun.

I was going to say that. All that water only for there to be two horrid whirry little fans left :(

Hopefully this gets the GPU backing it deserves and they'll be buried under four Titans (or something). :)
