It was fuelled by the combination of the image of Nexxo in his red dress, coupled with me stumbling across the image in question. The rest wrote itself, although you should feel for those who saw the original, full-size image before Margon kindly replaced it with a colourful gent wearing flippers, armbands and snorkel mask

Hey, hey now. Did we really get through the "banned douchebags" discussion without mentioning Major or Stuartpb? Both characters I started out liking and slowly grew to depise as their attitudes and social skills soured. I feel old... edit - after Nexxo's post, I suddenly feel much younger. Thanks Nexxo!
