I like it, but I feel that the left edge could be brought in a bit because the little blob of vegetation there is quite distracting.
What settings did you use b_e? Exif is broken. Very nice shot, but would like it better if that left shrubbery was gone and a bit more of the house (i.e. all of its garden etc in shot)
To be honest, it looks less like a sharpness issue and more that the sensor lacks resolution when it comes to fine details. Looking at samples on dpreview, they look to have the same issue. You could try setting the noise reduction setting to 'Weak'. The default is auto on the NEX-C3, which is pretty strong.
Hey all, I hope you all enjoyed the GP last weekend, I certainly did from a fans point of view, but I found the photography very hard going! I found the bright sunlight and fences a tricky combo to combat :bang: Here are a few of my shots, I would welcome your thoughts! (p.s im lacking some pack shots because I had no choice in where we watched the race from on Sunday! Nuff said There is more to see at http://www.flickr.com/photos/polarityphotos/with/9671271813/ 1. This was earlier this year when I went to see my rents in Thailand.. Was at one of the national parks with my father and so happen to have my slr handy as we were out most of the day.. Think it was a lucky shot.... My dad got one almost exactly the same but with the sun setting behind the crow.. I swear it was the same crow
That is nice eddie! The water is just the perfect blend of frozen and flowing and the couple really pop.
