You know as awesome as this build is, I have just one concern about it....and that's the strength of the Acrylic to hold everything into place. Clearly towers of that size don't get moved around much, but surely you guys have some kinda structural support in mind...like an alu skeleton or something like that?

Parvum Systems Project Magnus - 20th Sep - Case assembled

No alu skeleton or reinforcement here. The combination of the bends in the mid wall along with the double and triple front layers means the case is extremely strong and ridged. This one had 8 shows confirmed so it had to with stand movement.

If shaun lets me ill stand on it tomorrow and see if it'll take my weight. I have no concerns... photo of course ^^

With you standing on it will not be a real test, you dont have the weight :D:thumb:

On the other hand if you got shirty or kovoet to stand on it, now that would be a real test. Lol haha:clap:

Haha well how strong does a PC case need to be? Only has to house some hardware :D

If anyone has a universal test or something else I can try ill be happy to give it a go!

Is this case going to be available to purchase at some point? If so will it support E-ATX size mobos?

I would love to buy one for a Gigabyte Sniper green black theme build.

Regardless this looks to become another excellent Parvum build!

Mad isn't it! Lovely piece of kit. Have a mini update with a little video to come tonight if all goes to well.

Yeah of course. It won't be this exact case but this is the initial working prototype. Yep, E-ATX will be fine, customer will choose ATX or EATX, the mid wall will be all that changes between the cases.

Hi all, quick little mini update for you all. Had to cut some frosted at work so did the bits for the detailing and shot a quick little video at the same time.

But first we have a speedy unboxing of the FlexCage MB973SP-B. I wanted to have a nice quickly removable solution for large mechanical drives. This was the answer. It also gave us a couple of extra USB3.0 ports at the back if needed. Simply useful to chop and change drives in the work place.

Love the item. Few subtle plans. The base colour of the unit is fine no problems there. Will change the sticker to a piece of vinyl, change the fan and braid the cables at the back there. Test fit however went great. Nice as we only pulled the measurements from the technical data found on the website:

Next onto a little treat in the post from Asus: The MAXIMUS VI EXTREME!
Took a couple of nice photos of the board pre waterblocks and a what to find in the box!
Considering doing something with the OC Panel in this build:

Next we fit the male parts to the already cut female. Perfect fit fortunately :)

To finish for the day we rendered a quick little video. Sorry it was slapdash just to show you the tool changer and a little bit of the inlay so enjoy:

See you all soon! Have a great week!

We used two in our ROG press conf. this summer. They are built like little brick-**** houses. No sweat: The metal cubes work great.

Nah we don't choose to fix them in this instance. The fit is 'tight' so to speak.. so no need. Unless pushed from the other side (which you wouldn't be able to) they wont be coming out!

Indeed they strong! The mid wall is the strong guy doing all the work :)

Snug as a bug in a rug

Yeah really happy with it, Asus are very lucky indeed ;)

Another nice Parvum Systems case, I will stay here to see it finished

But... the most amazing thing of this log is, without doubt, the CNC machine
