Case Mod - In Progress CL0S3 IMPACT-Final pics and a closing for this saga

    Well it time to start unveiling what im trying to..

    Today is the turn of the Spectracoat top coat.

    Key the exterior panels ready for spraying,key,tack rag then a wipe over with a panel wipe to get rid of any fingerprint grease etc.

    Then we apply the Spectracoat..

    I know what you are thinking...doesnt look like much right?

    And smooth as a babies bum.

    The pics dont do it justice,the panel shimmers thru all the prismatic spectrum,looks awesome.
    When its clearcoated and buffed,it should pop out really well

    And to top off my day..

    A glorious MIPS Iceforce HF block!
    Last of the breed and very possibly the block i will use in this build,unless i can find another then it will be going in the SR2

    wow... nice paintjob, i like to see if it goes well with the red and black of the asus impact. or are the panels sparkley on the outside and plain black on the inside? anyhow... can't wait to see it assebled.

    The panels are black on the inside but there is a layer of sound mat going in all the panels on the inside anyway.
    The frame is staying all black...adding sparkly to the inside will make it look like John Travoltas pants.

    The panels dont have the sparkle out of direct lighting,only when the light hits it at a certain angle do they light up.

    Just putting the panels on now for some glamour shots.....looks bloody great so far! In no direct light,its like a very dark gunmetal with a blue tint. Once the light hits it,it lights up!

    I couldnt resist getting the panels on for a look....im secretly chuffed on how this came out,I hope i can get a similar result with the ICE FX kit,my first attempts didnt look so hot....MORE PRACTICE!!

    i really like it so far, indeed the pianoblack gives it a nice contrast, luckily so that John Travoltas wouldn't wear it :D

    Your INTEL chip build would look really swish painted with this stuff and maybe the actual die stenciled in.....
