Just placed my PS4 pre-order through ZiiP.co.uk!

Can't wait!

And finally got round to buying contents insurance..

 

I'd love to pre-order a PS4 right now. But in Germany we only have two available bundles, both of which are of no interest whatsoever to me. I could, obviously, order from the UK, but with the exchange rate being what it is and shipping on top I'd end up spending quite a lot more than I want to...

 

Is that ZiiP order going to get you one on launch? If so, that's pretty good going as all the major retailers have been sold out since August!

 

im only interested in Titan fall which is coming to PC and MGS5 which is coming to ps3... still no games that im interested in for next gen.

apart from that medieval looking one but i cant remember what its called.

 

I have the Day One Xbox on pre-order. Will be on ebay the same day it arrives.

Works pretty good, if you got the hardware (phone with supported IR blaster) :
+ you can define a mixed remote with buttons from your other remotes you added
+ macros
+ automatic mute when you get a call.
+/- It is a software remote, that means you have to look at it when you use it .
- when i want to customize the buttons on the remote it crashes once in a while. Not a showstopper, it just shows an error and then it continues.
- some remote definitions are strange, but you can teach a new remote any time you want if you need it, at least on HTC One (they have this info for Samsung: "Please note that due to Samsung hardware limitation, automatic learning isn't possible", not sure what do they mean with that).
- with my original Yamaha remote, when i press VOL+ or VOL- for longer time, it "speeds up" and changes volume in bigger steps. This doesn't happen with this software remote - it keeps changing the volume by the minimal 0.5dB steps.

I still need to find out the ideal Yamaha AVR remote definition (they got lots of various models, but some have more or less buttons than mine, or they got a different remote for the same model as me...), but for most of my needs it works just fine.

 

I don't know tbh, but I'm not overly fussed. I'd rather my money go to the guys that run ZiiP, if it's a few weeks, a month or so behind, it doesn't bother me, I've got a PC and PS3 to tide me over.

EDIT: No more Takumar 85-210, the seller hadn't mentioned it had fungus on the front lens and It did not appeared on the picture. Since I don't have the knowledge to disassemble and clean it from fungus, I asked a refund. I am so disappointed right now, I was so thrilled about this purchase : (
