There was more chillis in the tub next to it, but they weren't [as] hot ones... plus some sweet peppers...

 

Being issued electrical circuits within 10mins of my house, means I can now ride my bike whilst at work.

Hopefully we'll get loads of snow so I can justify a 'Fat bike' for work purposes

 

did a CBT and atm am trying diff 125cc bikes, honda varadero is the one i want after a test drive today. buts its pricey:/

 

Bank called to thank me for being a member for 8 years, a nice touch particularly since it was from the local branch and not a call center. Looked over my account, found I could get a better version of my credit card with lower interest, better rewards, and got approved for 20x my current limit. Interest and limit are a non-issue, but the rewards are pretty good! To make money matters even better, my paycheck tomorrow includes pay from days missed on furlough!

i have a hypersensitivity to spice

pepperoni is about as 'hot' as i can usually handle

 

sometimes they lie when they say it's 'mild', I've had Korma curries that'd melt your face [like wise had vindaloos and the like with all the kick of a jar of baby food]... though that said someone I know claims he can taste the heat of a bell pepper [and that's borderline too hot for him...]... jury's out as to whether he's weird, stupidly sensitive to capsacin, a wuss or a liar... [or all of the above...]

I try and go for a heat/taste balance... most of the stupid-hot sauces either don't taste very nice or don't taste of anything at all... without flavour what's the bloody point...

Off to the Far East tomorrow for a week on Business

 

I'm jelly. Each damn time.

 

Wife got a new job in town. Now it only takes 10min to get to work instead of 35min. Will save a bunch of money on gas.
Also with her last paycheck from work she got paid out her unused holiday pay which was almost a whole paycheck worth, PLUS she got her unused sick days paid which was a whole paycheck worth plus a bit.

Basically got 3 paychecks worth of money while we were only expecting half of that!

Will be using some of that towards a new tv (going for 55" to 65") and hopefully a furnace to replace the very inefficient baseboard heaters we have. Should allow us to greatly reduce our heating costs in the winter.

 

Nice one Talla! Surely the heater though would be the priority over the tv?

 

Just handed in a 47 page product spec for a university engineering project. Stress levels now minimal.

 

Free Batman Arkham Origins Key from a GTX 660 after I built my brother-in-law's PC. He's not interested so he let me have it. It's looking like a promising game atm.
