Went to my first F1 race last weekend. I wasn't able to get any really good action shots. Definitely should have read up / practiced taking tracking shots. Plus my stock 18-55mm wasn't the best at getting tight shots.

My 3 year old spent half an hour playing with flickr on my phone flicking through your train pictures. He also likes trains, so you've got one fan

 

Haha, Good good. The two East Coast 91's i have pictured will both be in Edinburgh at some point this week/weekend if he decides he wants to look at them properly.

Three great shots ,

With the right amount of distance and control of the light, all you need is white, build a massive infinity curve and your sorted as long as you have enough space to control where the light goes.

Yeah, the trick is enough distance to get it to go black For everything else, there's black backgrounds!
