Thanks Nutty... Well, the LCD overheating was an issue of its own, have no idea what triggered that. The damaged RAM was something else. Strange as well though, the computer wouldn't boot when tilted in certain angles. Very hard to pinpoint!

Massive congratulations on finishing the build and getting everything operational. Videos were excellent as showed a lot of things that were obviously difficult to put across in the standard updates. Love the arcade interface, in fact love everything about it. Excellent work and look forward to following your next build (after a much deserved rest period of course)!!

Thanks Boorach! You're right, some of the stuff can be hard to put across in a photo worklog. But I also like to keep the worklogs as sparse as possible, leaving something for a grand finale. Some here might call that teasing or being plain evil =)

And about that resting period, I don't do resting. =) Already started a new project, will post a thread about it here pretty soon...

Yeah, I think that LCD issue should be sorted out now, but you'll never know with hokus-pokus-electronics.

The extra 12V boost is protecting your motherboard from overdrawing power on it’s ATX power connector, if needed I guess... That's just from what I've read
