Just realised last night when i was out drinking pretty drunk. I bumped into a old school friend he held his hand out and after a a short while of shaking his hand I realised he didn't want to shake hands he was showing me his broken fingers oops!

 

That made me chuckle.

My mom has some sickness bug, came home from work this morning and found her unwell.

This could potentially ruin Christmas. Luckily I haven't fought it.

Just finished a 15hr shift....oh the joys of working in retail at xmas :/

 

I seem to have the not so festive "Christmas AIDS".

Bit annoyed as I was laid up with a Virus last year for about 4 days and seems I wont be on top form this Christmas either.

Maybe I will just smash the hell out of it with bottle after bottle of ale

 

I am in a similar-ish position. Started off as a sore throat yesterday morning which turned into an uncontrollable shiver unless I was in bed last night to a lovely bit of delirium this morning.

I hate being ill.

 

The end of this shift can't come faster enough

 

Sky dish has taken a battering from last nights mad weather.

EDIT: Sky said they can get an engineer out on the 12th of January (Are you ****ting me?) 3rd party engineer booked out today... Thank the lord for yellow pages.

 

Huntington race course has flooded so I won't be working there on boxing day.

Broke the tip of my left thumb. ****.

 

Sick again and trying to kill time with Netflix. Which loves to keep on having buffering issues.

 

So i decided to put £30 on the gas meter, thinking a bit of heating wouldn't go amiss,

£24 went because of "debt"? What debt? wtf some went on emergency, leaving me with £4.01 of gas money.

This has me fuming, No way in hell can two hot taps use the amount of gas they claim we're using.

 

Depends on who your supplier is, and I don't know the full details but my sister was running up a debt on the gas because she wasn't topping, the gas meter enough.

Might be worth while finding out if that is the case with you and then finding another supplier.

 

The 3 network has been giving me grief for last 2 weeks but according to their call centre (probably in mumbai) there is nothing wrong with the network at all and as i have refused to let them access my pc with logmein then the fault obviously has to be mine .Then yesterday after 24 hours without power due to the storms in the uk all i could get was a red light on my mobile broadband dongle so i called them again only for the person on other end to say there is nothing showing on there system therefore there is not a problem.At present i am getting speeds slower than dial up but according to 3 that is fine only showing 1 bar out of the 5 for signal strength

unfortunately its not that simple it is supplied by my boss who refuses to believe there is a problem as he is not having a problem too

 

Depends how you've set up your boiler.

If it's running all the time to keep the water hot then it doesn't matter how much hot water you actually use.
