Even £25 wouldn't convince me to sign up for a catalogue!

    Nevertheless, top deal for many.

Why not though just to use the money off and then close?

I'm just not a fan of catalogues...a personal thing.

    [Rant mode ON]
My memory of them is that they are full of overpriced goods that encourage people to "pay in instalments" for items they can't really afford and don't need. "It's only £5 a week, so cheap! I can afford that!". Sadly the majority of their customers can't (or won't) do the basic maths and work out they are paying over the odds.
    [Rant mode OFF]

*coughs* As I said, personal thing....Although I also remember a few years ago a load of people used an online code with one of these catalogue sites but were charged the full amount because the company said the vouchers were aimed at specific people.

So really it's £35 worth of something for £28.95 when you spend £15 more, when Ebay is sometimes cheaper anyways!

20% off lots of games at Green Man Gaming using the code on the front page of their site.

I picked up Company of Heroes 2 for £8 and Metro Last Last Season Pass for £2.40

I assume they were on sale too since CoH2 is currently £30, and I can't even see Metro Last Light Season Pass

Not necessarily. If you know someone with Gold, you can use their account to download the game. This works for many games as well, including the fortnightly free games with Gold. Not illegal or immoral either, Microsoft are aware of it and are fine with it. (Yes, Microsoft. No, really.)

Nearly every fortnight, while my girlfriend's round, I ask to use her account and download the game on my Xbox with it. If nothing else, she has been a constant source of free games to download or borrow. :D
