Thought I would put all the things me & a guy from work have been playing with on here so that people can see what we've been upto maybe help when we're stuck or try something for them selfs as its been fun messing around with LEDs, drivers, housings and all sorts. Got round to taking some proper photos (well with my iphone) When the front light has finished I'll take some better ones still, thought I would throw it on a shet of carbon as well for added bling can't beat having sheets of carbon laying around .
Hehe, I get to work with Carbon with Aluminium honeycomb core at the moment. I would snap a pic but it's all hush hush work..
That should be pretty tough, I would like to play with the carbon graphine variant that is floating around at the moment. Use foam cored carbon board before for kiteboards. Update coming soon as I've just got a whole pile of bits and pieces to put together into a light shaped thing .
The heatsink is for a Flood light for the garden, the LED going on it is 100W LED (clicky linky) its a bit too power hungry for a bike lol, the new bike light will be around 48w mind so not far off . M.
Various TaskLED driver boards, Rear light is using an lflex boost driver, 1st variant of the headlight is using an lflex also because its being powered by XPG2s similar to the XPE Reds in the rear both of these are powered by 7.2v as there slightly lower power then the XMLs. Aspherical headlight which I'm working on next will use 2 MTG2s (18w each) powered by a b3flex 8 a 14.4v LIPO cell. Last one is a XML2 U2 T6 front light which will also be a 14.4v Lipo running off a maxflex board. Drivers from here LEDs from here

Chuck this in here also new light is built Low High Need to take some pictures with my camera rather then iphone but will update when I've got some better quality ones. Thinking about maybe making a small batch run of say 20 units, batteries not included so to give people options of what they want to use. 6 XPG2s in each unit, not tested but its well over 2400+lumens give or take lens loss but the LEDs are being driven at there max ampage. Whole light without the gopro attachment weighs 98grams. 7.4v standard magicshine type pack will work.
