New Livestream up this Friday! I'll be interested to watch this, hopefully they'll roll out a couple of new fixes. There is also talk of adding in some more advanced units, and backers can suggest ideas over at the forums.
A new open 2v2 has started last week, and there is an open 1v1 with entry closing Friday. Also: Nice to leave out how buggy it is
Does anyone else have constant freezing going on? Every 30 seconds the game freezes for about 3 seconds.
^ Are you using the Steam version, in the past I've herd of difficulties with that. In the biggest news for me, the way metal spots are generated has been patched; Time for me to give it a try. New Camera: ZaphodX's PoV:
Update for PA the teleporter is now in game, new units added, area patrol, orbital fabber, quite a few improvments. Full patch notes below: http://steamcommunity.com/games/233250/announcements/detail/1406548014812041590
Anyone manged to get the teleporter to work across a planet to a moon yet? I have only got it working on the same planet/moon, one thing that would be good to add would be for nuke/anti nuke silo's to have a different symbol when their empty. Lost all my power to a nuke hit as my anti nuke silo was empty- then had my commander nuked again while trying to restore power.
PA has now entered "Gamma Phase" with plenty of stuff overhauled including the UI and menus. Looking awesome and it's got multi-planetary spawns now!
Yeah, they’ve done huuuuuge updates in the last week or so. I’m planning on jumping back in over the next week or so (I’m still rubbish, mind)
Wargame: Airland Battle is another title where the AI just simply annihilates me in MP games. ZiiP is looking to Twitch a few games of PA through our new dedicated server in the coming weeks, so I'll keep you guys posted.
I cancelled my pre-order on account of having nothing but Intel HD4000 on my pc and being disinclined to fork out £400 (it's a weird form factor) just to play PA (even though it pains me with TA being be favourite game of all time) With the latest update, anyone noticed any streamlining in terms of performance? So many of the videos are like slideshows on what seems to be fairly beefy systems. I've got the CPU (Xeon 1245v2 AKA i7-3770), but just not the graphics.
