Wierd hearing the opening music from Mass Effect 3 in the Alfa segment though...

 

Pity Caterham didn't eke a bit more power out of the K6A; Suzuki were doing 80 whp over 20 years ago.

 

It's a very conservative tune on that engine, but it's apparently the only one Suzuki would honour the warranty on in a 3rd party application. A remap will sort it out nicely of course.

Used to hearing the Tron and Batman music in things like that... they're used quite frequently, the Mass Effect one just caught me by surprise...

 

From the Mirror, yes not the best paper in the world, but just scan the site for 5 mins with my toast.

 

I am pretty sure that if they wanted to that Clarkson, May and Hammond could have refused to go to the site.

there are many companies that run day tours to the site from Kiev ( although not with the current climate I would think ) its perfectly safe to visit and some of my friends have done it in the past ( there was even talk of us going this year in the summer )
the event was blatantly staged as they would simply not allow you to wander through the zone alone, the tours operate a strict policy of being in line of sight of everyone ALL of the time. most likely they would have picked him up in the 4x4 and drove him out and used the footage to add drama.

The cycling segment had some good laughs but they stayed on it for too long, proably see alot of complaints.

But I thought (hoped) they would do the Spyder and P1 comparison this episode, seems like they're not even sure if they'll do it at all with James saying "later on in the year, hopefully" and Jeremy saying "hopefully we'll be able to put it together June or July". Hopefully they do because I look forward to it.

 

Very sorry for the dumb question, but could someone explain to me the joke Jeremy made about the Stig yesterday? (the one about CNN, low ratings and a show being canceled).

Piers Morgan - Took over Larry King's Late-night chat-shot on CNN... only the walking slime was so disliked and the show's rating's so bad they've told him to jog on... He also made the somewhat foolish decision to argue the toss over the US' right to arm bears... or something...
