Bugger me. That looks Nice! :jawdrop:

Are you using Clear Acrylic there, and if so; How did you stop it from kinking when you put the corners in?

    Thanks!

Yep that's clear acrylic tubing, I bent it around a small off cut of metal tubing that had the right circumference, although anything that wouldn't melt with the hot acrylic applied should work.

Well I've just finished installing the cooling in mine and I'm pretty happy with it.

The CPU is cooled by the black loop - black tubing with Mayhems Pure Black liquid.
The GPU's are cooled by the white loop - I've had to re-do this loop as I needed a larger reservoir to help keep the temps down. SpecialTech have stopped stocking the white tubing so this is now clear tubing with Mayhems Ice White liquid.

Apologies for the poor pics, late at night, terrible lighting and a crap photographer. I'm contemplating adding some interior lighting now and spraying the ram covers white.

One things for sure, after this build, it will be a while before I do any upgrading!

Probably could do with a bit of a clean if I'm honest... and a side panel.

Has been happily sitting there running non-stop for 7 months.

Not the best quality photos ever taken but that's what crappy lighting and handheld shots will do for you...

Some great looking rigs here, my latest cheap build is old school air cooled using a case turned through 90 degrees, just a fun build as I couldn't bring myself to throw away this big old Thermaltake case which was the first case I ever bought.

I think it's brilliant great to see some original ideas and use of old parts.

    My rigs (both complete now)

hey, new around here. It's been about 1 year exactly since I took delivery of my first case, a Corsair C70.

I always wanted to build my own PC but I never had the confidence, the most I'd done before with PC's was replace RAM and a blown PSU. So I bought the case before I changed my mind :D

Here's the spec list of my first rig.

Corsair C70 Black - with clear window mod
    Asus Saberooth Z87 motherboard
    Intel i7 4770k @ 4.2GHz
    Corsair H100i - with SP120's Quiet Edition
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 1866MHz RAM - with light bar upgrades
EVGA GTX 780 Classified SLI - with backplates and EVGA Pro SLI Bridge
Corsair AX860 PSU - with individually sleeved red cable kit
    Lamptron FC5v2 Fan controller
2 x Bitfenix Alchemy 600mm White LED strip
    Samsung EVO 250GB SSD
    2 x WD Green 2TB HDD
    SP120 Quiet Edition as exhaust
    4 x BeQuiet Silent Wings 2 120mm as intakes

    Samsung S27B970D 27" PLS 1440p monitor
Ducky Shine 3 mechanical keyboard - White LED's and Brown Switches
    Razer Mamba wired/wireless gaming mouse
Bose Companion 2 Series III 2.0 speakers
    Corsair 2100 wireless headset
Razer Goliathus Extended Control mouse mat.

All of the fans (except the exhaust) are controlled via the first 3 channels (2 on each channel) on the fan controller. The 4th channel controls my LED strips.
This way I have complete control over the noise and light output of my rig.

Following the success and fun I had building my first rig, I decided to replace the cheap and nasty prebuilt I used to do all my downloading and web browsing on. Unraring large HD files, playing them and copying them to my NAS used to bring the PC to a grinding halt.

I decided early on that I wasn't going to skimp, I built the rig with the capability of turning it into a gaming rig easily if I ever wanted/needed to. Considering it's light work load, I figure it'll be a while yet before it starts to show it's age. I painted the fan rings myself, and as you can see in the last pic, shrink wrapped the coloured wires on the HD audio cable.

    Corsair 350D
Asus Gryphon Z87 motherboard - with thermal armour
    Intel i5 4670k
    Corsair H75 - with SP120 Quiet Edition
Corsair Low Profile 8GB 1600MHz RAM
    Corsair RM550 PSU
    Samsung EVO 250GB SSD
    WD Green 4TB HDD
    2 x AF140's as intakes

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

I have moved your post (well thread) out of Project Logs (as you don't have a log, just finished pics) and merged it into our existing "Photos of your computer" thread (which was well overdue some new content imho :p)

Two very nice neat rigs you've got there chap - very well done :thumb:
