£80 per year with unlimited free next day delivery on Prime eligible items or £8.99 to post a 15cm mini USB cable to NI in 3-5 working days? My mind has been made up ;)

Seriously though, £8.99 for a tiny second class packet.

They probably "suckered" a lot of people in with the low rate last year in preparation for this price hike, but it is actually worthwhile having. Their customer service is impeccable too, so I think it's still a reasonable price to pay.

Oh yeah, almost forgot; I bought a few short mini USB cables today. Not from that seller though!

New TiLite wheelchair, demo model with Spinergy wheels and Frog Legs casters already installed. Chair is fully ready to be upgraded to a Wijit manual drive system. Cost less than a quarter of New, 11.6 pounds versus 42 pounds for my current chair. It should help immensely.

I wouldn't mind the Amazon Prime price rise if they gave a selection of couriers to deliver the item as the one they use in the South West is really hit and miss.

Bought a few bits for the home and my games club:

A couple of leather journals, keys, parchments, money pouches with custom coins and other small roleplay props.
Tickets to the UK Games Expo.
A new bookshelf and a couple of updated programming books.
A new corkboard for my office and some push pins.

I think one of those with a built in usb3 hub would be a good investment.

Edit: Purchasing today, an Asus MeMO FHD 10.1" tablet for my mom. Family gift for her, it's basically going to be used for her to carry around and show off pictures. No point spending any more $ for something better since she won't use any of it. (We have a digital picture frame but that isn't battery powered and it's not "easy" to navigate).

I ordered a 1.2m cable tray for my desk:

I want to replace this particular rectangular desk with a large corner arrangement to give me more space, but it'll have to be custom built and that will probably cost a small fortune. I haven't even found anyone who can do it yet, so the wiring situation has to improve if I'm keeping it any longer.

I don't get these, what benefit do they give? Is it just to keep the wire out the way? Or does it make the mouse feel lighter?

I think it's just an over-engineered bulldog clip...

I'm not sure it would change my life, but it looks fun.

I know lots of people that swear by them. Basically it puts your cable at the right place, with a bit of stretch available rather than having a coil on the desk that can then get in the way.

Yeah it just stops your cable getting caught on things etc in theory.

I've actually considered one as the DELL monitors I use have a small lip on their basees just big enough to get a cable stuck under...

    Samsung S5 wireless charging.

Because plugging a wire in is too much effort.

Wireless charging is awesome. You'll be surprised how annoying putting in a cable becomes after using these for a while.
I ordered another one for my Nokia today. :D

Have a go at building it yourself? Cheaper, completely to your liking and that sense of satisfaction you get from creating something.
