Just read this from beginning to end - seriously impressive stuff, you've made something really special here!

What a coincidence, I just did the exact same thing and I can't wait to see this beast in action.

It is also nice to see all the choices you made through the build, it's giving me some good inspiration for my own build. It will be nothing impressive like this but since it will be my first custom WC loop I figure I might as well go big. And with massive cooling (not that massive but there won't be any space left in my midi tower after I'm finished) I need a case that won't put it to shame.

I'm so looking forward to seeing this thing come to life :D

Edit: just gonna add a question here: I am considering using some acrylic for my own build and I wanted to paint it to get a black surface but have a clear edge for my led's to light through (going to drill in to it and place a 3mm led in the acrylic surface, that way you get a really nice glow). is the vinyl you use clear in the "white area" or is it just so thin that the green acrylic shows through? if it's white then I might have to use a cutout in the vinyl if I decide to use that instead of spray paint and masking tape.

Thank you very much guys. It is comments like this that inspire me to keep making long and detailed buildlogs

About the acrylic. The stickers are not vinyl. They're regular printed stickers. So they're actually transparent in the gfx parts. If you were to use vinyl you would first need to use a white layer and then a black layer. Otherwise the black layer will eat up the light.
What I did was keep the rear plastic white layer onto the plexiglass. This way it bounces back the UV light onto the UV plexi.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know what happened, I have lost some photos on my computer somewhere.
I bought aluminium L-pieces to put in front of the midplate and on the sides to cover the UV LED-strip.

I sanded, cleaned, primed and painted them. And mounted them and the LED-strip afterwards. I am really happy how the midplate turned out now.
Except for the fact the O of Supermicro is hiding under the wiring now
I will get a new one made up with their update logo as they have changed it a while ago. A tad smaller and a tad to the left.

Removed the wood from in between the pedestal and the main case.

This is how it looked afterwards.

I have now installed the arch as well, but my camera batteries are empty

So you will get the 99% done pictures VERY soon.

Thanks a lot man. I am not a general UV fan, but with green I really like it. Peter his desk showed me how awesome it could look. So with a build this size and green being the theme colour I just HAD to :)

    Thanks Pranja!

Thanks Jimbaw, yeah man it it quite large. Wait till you see the photos with all fans on. 5 fans on top of eachother will make you feel it is much larger again :)
I will put another big case next to it for perspective.

    Thanks a lot man :thumb:

    Thank you Wirecase :thumb:

Wow, I don't think it gets much more bad ass than this.

I love how slim the case looks. Although I'm sure it's not actually slim, it just looks that way because it's enormous. ;)

I can't really tell from the pictures, is there an acrylic window or is the case open?

    Thanks man :thumb:

The case actually IS slim. It is 4U wide. A Corsair 900D is more wide. This case cannot do push / pull on rads, not even on these 42mm thick ones.

I these pictures I did not fit the sidepanel. Those pictures will be up later on.
