To be honest, I've been planning similar for BitSec, but until we actually gets hands-on with AC at the minimum it is impossible to do anything beyond vague promises. However, I do want the BitSec squadrons to run training sessions for those who can attend, all to make us a better fighting force. If that extends to training with affiliated organisations I'm up for that - the more the merrier!

As for our PU plans? Shhhh, it's a secret ;)

I've played PlanetSide 2 a lot, and my in-game team were part of a recent EU tournament. We know all about team work, tactics etc. - but they take an in-depth knowledge of the game to develop and put in to practice. It's going to take a good while for that to happen with SC!

Cei, I'm liking the cut of your jib!

I honestly haven't played anything competitively since RTCW:ET and Guild Wars and don't particularly care to start again but there's such an immense amount of satisfaction to be gained from a well fought team battle, win or lose. Winning is it's own reward, losing can help you win next time.

Training sessions help with this massively, even if only to find out which people play best together and which role they find easiest.

took their sweet ass time over that one. Ive been checking every 15min while watching tv in bed. no chance i'll see it till mid afternoon now, but i'd imagine it'll be there around 11pm if what they've previously said is true, although if its simply uploading, that really shouldnt take more than a few min, so i think its the full package compile & upload process.

Still, thats my afternoon planned :D

10GBs for anyone wondering. Currently coming in at over 6mb a sec, so the servers seem ok at the moment!

ALERT: We are aware of a widespread issue in which the game locks between the Hangar and Arena Commander. We are working the issue and will publish a patch as quickly as possible.

By all accounts, SP isn't working at the moment ;)

Was looking forward to getting used to my Trustmaster HOTAS X.

But it's all patched and ready for when I get home :)

UPDATE (12:58 PM PST): The cause of the lock up has been identified: several necessary map files were not correctly served to end users via the CDN. The team is working on a solution now!

In regards to the Hotas X, I'm sure they joystick will work, and maybe even the throttles. Full customisable controls will be coming though :)

EDIT: Apparently they forgot to include the actual map .pak files. Whoops.
