- 3.5mm drill bit
- 10x nyloc M3 nuts
- 10x nyloc M4 nuts
- Two Component epoxy glue
- A tri-pack of M3 respirators
- Pillow case with motivational print (for the missus)
- Lunch (salad with spanish sausages)
- Iced Tea (peach)

 

3 nights camping overlooking Lake Windemere in August.

 

Not technically a purchase, but I've finally had to get something I've been holding off on for a LONG time. I've finally got a credit card.

Didn't want to, but sadly rising costs of everything and a wage that does increase with that has meant I've had little choice.

Yay.

 

Just a couple of computer text books to refresh knowledge on C++, C#, DirectX and .Net.
I've been out of the programming circuit for a few years and thought it's time to try re-spark my interest and pick up a few unfinished projects. Quite tempted to buy into a more recent game engine and have a bit of fun with a nice long project as well...

That's a familiar thing that happened to me a couple of years ago. It's a pain having to come to the decision to get one when you know it's mostly just another way of doing a loan...
Thankfully I've only ever had to use mine once to pay the deposit for rent.

It is pretty good and a tad harder than I was expecting given the presentation.

Picked up Mario Kart 8 yesterday and **** me is it fun! Only been playing the 50CC cup at the moment with my wife but, I know this will be a game that I will want to play over and over until the disc dies.

Need to register for my free game now. Not sure what to go for as I had Wind Waker but didn't really play it (nothing wrong with the game just not my cup of tea). I was thinking Pikmin 3 or possible Super Mario Bros U. Wonderful 101 is another choice but I will have to play the demo again to decide.

Got it for free 'cos it has some bent pins in the socket. Just need a CPU to test it with now

 

Nice, sure you'll bend those pins back! Next thing you know, you'll need a GPU!

 

I've already bent them back as best I can, but it looks like one has snapped so I don't want to save up for an i5 just to have a faulty board

And yeah, a new GPU will be in the works but I need some other bits first

A friend of mine has one of those (but not the left-hand bit).
It has given sterling service lo, these many years.

Ooo nice, get a good bed of coals in the left hand side, chuck some hardwood lumps on top and a pork shoulder in the main section, leave for 8 plus hours and omnomnom

 

Or buy a bag of Jack Daniels smoking chips. Mmmmm...
