Small update on the sleeving. Nate George was kind enough to ship me a few samples of the Teleios sleeving, and I instantly new that it would be what I was going to use in the case! Along with his cable combs, sleeving has just gotten so much more fun



First I had to take apart the case to do the wires that came down from the motherboard, and the wires from the harddrive on the side.



After that I fixed the fans that are going to sit in the pedestal.



Only needed power wires from one of the fans. If you solder together all 3 wires, you will mess up the signal from the fans, and not get a precise RPM reading.



Cut to length and sleeved. It is hard, but enjoyable to get the sleeving and heatshrink in place properly in fans. Worth it in the end though.





Fans finished and ready to mount. Still need some minor parts so that they can be mounted to the pedestal.



Wires for the 24 pin cut to length and crimped. This took far longer time than I want to admit.



Worth it though. The original wire was faaaaar to long.



The aftermatch. Need to clean this up, and get some pictures taken

You definitely need a short loom for an S3,I think the longest cable I ran was 12",most where around 9".

+1 on the sleeve too,lovely stuff indeed.

Still £400 shy of the £1300 needed. Iwent with the Kress 1050fme and usb controller so it bumped the price a lot!

I'm putting more bracing in mine too,as well as making much larger end brackets.

 

Yeah the Kress is the better, Have you seen these next on the list for me

I was thinking of buying a large plastic tray big enough to stand the whole machine in ( available on ebay ) and use a cheap submersible pump like the one's for fish tanks in the tray with a long flexible tube fixed to the cutter, of course the MDF bed would have to be replaced with something that wont soak up the cutting fluid.

Small update, but an update never the less



Needed to mount the fans to the side of the pedestal. I wanted to mount them so that I could easily take them out and clean it. I also did not want the radiators to get loose if I wanted to take out the fans.



They sit in place by friction, and can be pulled out if they have to.



And the spacers used.

Simple is better
