Didn't even think of that (was thinking about picking up Skyrim for just that reason).

    Any in particular?

it wont win any awards but Ace Combat Assault Horizon is currently £2.50 and for that price its a stellar plane pew pew game.

Tomb Raider and BioShock infinite with the annual pass have been my only purchases and I don't see myself making more, picked these out for when they came on sale before it started.

Search the Nexus sites. It's pretty hard to just recommend a couple for Dragon Age. High Res Textures would be a first for me, then the Character Creation Overhaul they have (there's a few, use the most popular if in doubt) then Battle Balancing Overhauls etc. There's quite a few seedy, sex mods etc but you can ignore those.

Now Skyrim, I can give you a thousand recommendations for mods on that.

The only sale item I have purchased is Simon Roths Maia.

It's very rough around the edges but oozes potential and the developer Simon is very active on the forums.

Happy to support it and have long yearned for a more modern replacement to Startopia, Space Colony and Theme hospital :)

    Not bad for £12.

I got Terraria as a gift a while ago. I could never get into it. It seems to be for those people who like the Rogue-like/ building minecrafty games.

Blimey, Skyrim is £2.50 for a few hours. :jawdrop:

Not a genre I usually play but for that price I have to give it a try.

It is a simply enormous game for less than the price of a pint. I don't normally sink a lot of time into games but even I managed 300 hours. I barely scraped the surface of the awesome modding scene propping it up!

Is it worth getting the expansions? They're doing the lot as a bundle for less than £7.

If you are not normally an RPG player you'll find plenty of content in the vanilla game, but if you envisage becoming an orc or whatever for the next 6 months then get the bundle :D

Thanks, I'll get the vanilla game for now and see how I get on.
