For me that involves a 1.5 hour drive to the ferry, an hour long ferry journey and a 5.5 hour drive to Goodwood. Then I have to do the same thing all over again to get home. Yes, I will do it some day, but for now I'm perfectly happy watching from the comfort of my sofa.

It also involves a stupid amount of money for me. Between diesel, the cost of the ferry crossing, accommodation, food and tickets into the event, I could be spending close to £1000. It's a pretty expensive weekend away, and I would only do it if I was bringing my own car to display or compete with.

    Wedding planning nearing completion.
I say "planning" and I mean countless pieces of Decor, programme, etc.
From table arrangements through making our own candle holders, to sleeping arrangements dress, and a million details.
I can't share anything until after the wedding itself, but it's been a lot of work.
    T-3 weeks.

    Congrats right back at you!
    Moving country? Yowser!!!

I realised that besides paying for the flights (which is already done), I should probably start actually making arrangements for the "Honeymoon", which is essentially visiting the family in Germany. You know - when am I where, do the people have time, that kind of thing...
August 1st (date we leave for Germany) is getting close now.

Ok, that's fair enough, I do highly recommend it, and i've only been to the Thursday event. I certainly DO NOT recommend driving to it, as it can take upwards of 2 hours to leave, and get in for that matter, Stay out of town, travel in by train and catch the bus up.

My lifes awesome due to the fact, i'm still on annual leave, the parent's have gone on holiday themselves so it's a house to myself for the next 2 weeks, I have a day trip to Devon tomorrow, with Cornwall and Cardiff on the cards too.

I actually miscalculated before, it's actually over 4 hours to get to Holyhead from here, which seems like a high estimate for the maps app, but is actually accurate when you add waiting times for boarding and disembarkation.

If the weather plays out I'll be outside with a pencil and book for most of the day getting my ideas together.

I really need to get away from any distractions, I'm on the cusp of being where I want to be with this idea but too much is getting in my way.

Went out today for my Devon trip, got to Westbury, train was delayed, but i was sat in glorious sunshine, so i wasn't fussed. Train arrived, got to Exeter, cloudy, continued to Newton Abbot where it was cold, wet, nasty and horrible. So there and then, i made the decision not to go walking along the Dawlish sea wall, i would instead go to Penzance, and it was the best decision i made.
