    They shouldn't do, and they don't. But psychopathy is compatible with traits demanded from alpha's. Pack animals, aren't we all?

    The DSM-IV uses the terms psychopath and sociopath interchangeably. As such, psychiatry does. The distinction above does not hold water: damaged development can lead to either.

    Psychologically it is regarded as a matter of degree: sociopaths will justify their behaviour through a warped application of moral reasoning, while psychopaths simply do not care at all.

    Anorexia does not have an evolutionary advantage. It is initially moderated and modulated by body responses to starvation that have an evolutionary advantage. Not the same thing.

    Most of my year at school (which was quite a long time ago now, going back 12 or 13 years) failed IT GCSE because the teacher we had at school didn't know/tell anyone that there was coursework to do - and you get most of your marks from coursework, so no one really passed. Which meant when I was at college it was mandatory for me to take "Key Skills IT Level 2" as I didn't have an A - C grade IT GCSE. Key Skills Level 2 in IT is utter nonsense, basically the most basic "how to write a letter" class. Needless to say they made me go, threatening all kinds of things, so I went, and bought down the computer room network. They then didn't say I had to go back, and for the last 5+ years I've worked in IT.

    There was a computing A level when I were a lad, but not a GCSE (that I remember), but I never did it and I still managed to get a job in IT.
