I like the maps personally, better than the previous DLC. More infantry based

Its a bit like team death match play style but on a larger scale.

    Well so it is!

Using the same pass code again at the second prompt gets level 4 as well.

I had it when I first did it but go through a second time and its not there.

Hope that's not it and it can never be accessed again that would be crap.

I didn't know you had to use the same code for the 4th part

It seems to have been a bug, whilst the little scripted text told me welcome to stage 4, it didn't actually unlock anything extra over stage 3.

I expect the actual stage 4 comes with a different password hidden in Final Stand and in my little wishful thinking world includes a crossbow and an AN94...

Enjoying this now when family life and work permits. Silk CQB server seems to be a good one - any recommendations for any others?

I reckon that any analogue joystick would be helpful with jets and helis.

Myself, I just remapped, the space bar to pull up for jets. That made the world of difference. I use keyboard and mouse with helicopters. It does take a while to get used to though.

Wouldn't worry too much, the vehicle physics in BF4 are so arcadey you can pretty much play with anything.

Joysticks and BF3/4 flying don't mix well, KB/M works better. Either flying using only the keyboard like I do, or a lot of players map the flight commands to the extra mouse buttons and fly like that.

In recent BF games joysticks get a problem where they don't seem to register the full extremes of input at the same time. So you can use full roll or full pitch, but you can't use full roll and full pitch at the same time, so keyboard and mouse players can always out turn you.

Way back in BF2 a joystick was essential for jet combat, now it's a no no.

Anyway, I'm really missing playing BF :( need to build a new comp...

Not all of them. Some changes are being held back until the Final Stand DLC hits, so it's not in the patch today.

The first autumn patch is released today and it's about 1.16GB in size.

gotta say im loving the new patch, everything is much more responsive, snappy. Only down side is recoil is almost non existent on some guns now. Still a massive improvement and is much more enjoyable to play again.
