If you like blacks, its a solid no-frills board. The reason most of us would avoid it is the weird shaped enter key which makes replacing the keycaps (almost) impossible.

Hi guys, looking at getting myself a ergodox keyboard from falbatech. On pimpmykeyboard there is a "decked out" group buy which looks pretty good. I quite like the idea of having the the letters on the keys on the ergodox rather than blank keys. What sets would i be looking at to cover it.

    link - http://www.pimpmykeyboard.com/deals/decked-out-keyset/

    Thanks.

Ordered two JD40's, so there's some work for Margo's Mods :D Very exciting. One is for my girlfriend, who has decided she likes blues best after trying every switch I could get my hands on to show her :)

Hopefully can find someone to take on my SmallFry order, if not I'll be trying to sell it in bits or as a kit after I receive it, I suspect... :/

I am not a fan of that keyset, sorry - they have knocked off the CTRL[ALT] Hyperfuse set...

Equally, I can't bring myself to promote a keyset that has rather obviously copied someone else's hard work.

As an alternative, there should be a Round 2 of Matt3o's Granite set in the near future, which will be Ergodox compatible. They're really really really nice caps to use.

Margo: sorry for adding to your workload :p

Your link gives a server error message (As does navigating to the JD40 on the CtrlAlt website) Does this mean it's sold out? If so, glad I ordered 5-10 minutes ago :)

edit: nevermind, no server errors any more.

heh, got home to find a delivery card, looked up the code, saw it came from telford, shropshire. then i remembered pexon is sometimes called shrop and put two and two together!

now, where's the best place for me to find a plate mounted 60% board that'll fit in it, either with clears, or somewhere i can also buy clears, and possibly white LEDs?

Pexon did say the V60 Mini does fit, you just can't screw in all the screws. Maybe ask him if he's getting some more in?

Alternatively I think there's a CTRL ALT 60% coming up?

So when i went looking for those keycaps for my KBT RACE I kinda got carried away...

Now I need a set for this badboy, kinda hard with the stepped capslock and 1.5mods, but no where near as hard as the Race.

First person to guess what it is wins 1.5points. (best size mods) :thumb::D

OMG Mr Baggins, that is some gear you have!

Miss my old Filco, but this threads like a maze.

In fact, all these switches still baffle me, then you can add O-rings etc and you start customizing it (if you can call it that as it barely touches the scope?).

Would be great if there was one place where you could go and just play with the different types of switches so you can almost get it right the first time, well in my instance would be third. Though I guess seeing the likes of so many of the gents here having several boards for different occasions/uses probably means one wouldn't suffice anyway. :sigh:

    Mr Baggins, more photos please....

Edit: el2k bud, my, my, thats a lovely board you have there....in fact, what is it and what have you done to it from stock? Thanks.

Sorry for jumping in late, hence me having no idea what you're going on about with the cases fitting?

Anyhow, is it this that you'll have in? http://www.hardcoreware.net/kbp-v60-mini-review/

If so, I am definitely tempted! :)
