I've gradually been sorting and uploading photos from my holiday. A few that I think came out best: Sailing through the cut by Henry6555, on Flickr Woodland Stream by Henry6555, on Flickr Squirrel in the Grass by Henry6555, on Flickr
What shutter speed do you guys shoot at when doing autosport stuff ? I took my camera to the track for the first time yesterday and loved it, but I need to practice a lot more. Didn't turn out too bad though what do you guys think ? Was using my 600D with a 200 L series prime lens.
Not bad, but the fast shutter speed makes the car seem parked there. You might like to dial down the shutter speed a little & pan with the car. This will blur the wheels & background, giving a sensation of speed.

Agreed. Should be front page on MCN (Motor Cycle News)! Now for some of mine. Thanks, that last one was my reason for driving 250 miles each way. There are more on my Flickr. You take over 3000 pics in 2 days, a couple of them should be reasonable .
Good on ya, and it's also excellent news to hear that VERA has been repaired and is flying again. I hope to see her and 'Thumper' at Goodwood Revival in a few weeks time. Sam
West Sussex is a bit far for me to drive twice inside a month, but I can recommend a good inn about 30-40 minutes away from Goodwood which does rooms for around £70/night, and really good food/beers. Personally, I'm planning to hit up Southport on the 20th-21st.
