Jim Beam Devil's Cut Bourbon : Buy Online - The Whisky Exchange

I don't normally like Jim Beam, it has a nasty coconut /washing up liquid taste to me, but this was on sale and it's not a bad drop, maybe a touch too sweet for a regular drink but still nicely smokey and oakey.
Would love to know the process or if it's BS, but for now it had been added to the occasional tipple list.

All manifold studs on the 3S-GTE and most other Toyota engines are E-TX/External Torx/Female Torx, as are some of the hub bolts on the Clio, so I ordered a set of Teng Torx sockets:

I have a good 3/8 set of my own, but the only 1/4" drive ratchet I've had access to is Dad's old Hilka one which is probably as old as me (no joke) and wilst the sockets are still fine, the ratchet itself has seen better days, and is very difficult to change direction on as a result of wear on the mechanism, so a new one was in order. The Teng set was on special offer with about £30 off. Some people rave about Teng, some professional mechanics find them too weak over time and state that they're over hyped. For anything I'm going to be doing though, they should be fine:

I've also been after a set of combination spanners with ratchet rings on them, so I opted for the Wera Joker 11 piece set:

I'd been eyeing the Blue Point/Snap-On set with a ring on each end of different sizes (for compactness in your toolbox) but at more than twice the price of the Joker set, I decided against it. Wera are good quality and have a good warranty as well, and the Joker looks to be a very useful tool.

    OK. Talk to me.

1, how are they powered? Can you have them wired into your home lights or do they need to be plugged in? I would love to be able to switch them on with my main lights.

    2. If plugged in how discrete is the plug?

    3. Did you get the extentions? It says that you can do 5m + 3m which is what I need but did you have a chance to test that?

I am very tempted to go and get these....

    Cheers longbeard.

I'm thinking of ordering two and having a play before installing it all.

...and what I need to know is, is there a switch on the lights somewhere, or do you have to turn them on and off at the plug?

    Plug / transformer

Teeny tiny control box / ir receiver, you can also see my scratty double sided tape as the supplied adhesive tape is a tad poor.

You can put them into standby via the remote but to properly power down it's turn off at the socket.
