Surely that's too good for go pro footage. What are you using to film all that?

 

hehe.. actually its shot with a GoPro 3+Black
the clip with the chasing og the grey boat (coastguard) was with a GoPro 3 Black
And some of them is with a Ragecams 4,5mm lens on the GP3+B, the camera is sooooo much better with that lens!

What kind of setup do you use for that? Been looking at some stuff for taking footage of the valley where I live as promotional material for work. Note: I am a complete newbie to this!

 

Should be taught in schools, and HAMMERED into minds until it sticks...

I was just feeling the opposite. The vlogbrothers have such an annoying style and personality to their videos. Their humor feels like it comes from condescension, which is probably an extension of how smug they are on camera. Whenever they express an opinion (even their mostly factual videos are heavy with opinion) they do it in this way that seems to say, "and you would be a moron for disagreeing." It gets tiring, like the times I've been around people like that in real life. Is there a way you could be smart and not come across as a total A-hole?

It's possible to educate people without being completely annoying.

 

I mean that I find their subject matter quite interesting; although I agree that some of their jokes and the physical humour (pointing to things in the studio set) to make up for the fact that it's a technically dull show sort of annoying. They're not funny and they shouldn't try to be.

 

I'm with you there. The subject matter they cover is interesting, and they cover it so concisely that, for a while, I put up with their annoying presentation and sidetracks. But now I avoid everything they do, like how I avoid anything with Joan Cusack in it. I have no reason to hate her, I just do. I also pretty well hate Anne Hathaway, again for no real reason, but watched the Dark Knight all the same. I'm rambling.

 

Kind of like how I hate Michael Cera, he's just incredibly annoying to me.

I'd agree, but videos ≠ demote pictures. Also, if one is only attracted to a lady based on her chest size alone, that is a very sad state of affairs- I'd happily have Keira Knightly in bed with me, flat chest ( and husband ) be damned...

I was more implying that if they're so insecure that they feel that they have to manipulate (WITH SOCKS!!!!) their appearance then god only knows how their mind works about anything else.
