The tray was cut at the weekend and is on its way,in the meantime I started on the loom.
Dark grey Teleios sleeve from E22 with florescent yellow plugs should fit nicely.

Sadly I ran out of sleeve so its off for more...

Im getting quite excited about the tray coming now,I will be able to properly assemble the whole tray and get those rads in. I hope I wasnt using my Chinese ruler that day......

The case inspired me massively from the first time I saw it. It was pretty much built in my head before I laid eyes on it.

I had a plan and ,for once,I stuck to it

    Thank you Sir.

Magoo has your scent now....and he has the taste for raw flesh.

You would be surprised how often I misjudge the fitting of stuff, this build had serious space issues which is why the res is in the tray and the ports to it have not been drilled. I bought a pillar drill especially for this tho.

The advantage is that everything is done in solidworks so its should all slot together well, the disadvantage is that you need good base measurements for that to work.

Hehe that's exactly what I did too, probably the most nerve wracking thing I've done in my life. Made it all the more tense that the penultimate hole exploded, I wish you much better luck there.

I have a technique, drill a pilot then drill in from both sides and meet in the middle.
Bursting is a bugger with acrylic.

And for tapping straight if you have a pillar drill, mount the tap and hand start it in the hole then disconnect and use the bar,it will be straight everytime.

    HeyHey :D

I didn't imagine you were spot on every first time but when you have a piece that big and important custom made, I'm pretty sure that you have double or triple check everything before giving it a go ;)
