    Thanks!

Yeah... I'm not going anywhere near an airport with this one. If I do, I'll likely end up a discussion item in the "serious" forum haha.

    :)

Cheers man, must admit it feels good to finally be able to call a halt on this one, was beginning to drag on a bit.

Indeed, and now it has! Feeling a little lost now, guess I'll just have to fill that void with the next project eh?

I attempted to write a clever anecdote about modding addiction and falling into depravity, but it got inappropriate almost immediately. :worried:

So I'll just stick with "Welcome to the Club!" and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

It looks absolutely stunning man!!! Congrats on finishing it.
Original, clean, art, craftmanship, all the ingredients for something special.

If I can make a tiny, tiny, tiny addition; if you would make a cover for the silver IO ports in black with in gold the name of the project on it (small letters). It would remove the silverness. Just a thought.

    Amazing build :thumb:

Haha, well at least I've got something planned, should be a little different too

    Thanks man!

Cheers Hukkel, yeah that's and idea I've also been playing been playing with. Hell, just because a build is "finished" doesn't actually make it finished right? :p

No not at all, I did the same in Close Impact if I recall. You're completely right btw. I'm looking at the photos on my desktop and the ones that were uploaded and they're really quite different actually. I think the general low brightness has caused the compression to become a bit muddy. I'll go through and edit all of them to make them much more like how they should be, which tbh is pretty much what your edit is.

From the look of things, are they mostly white balance/clarity/exposure alterations? Handy to know as that does look really good and I might take ages trying to get similar settings. I noticed yesterday that things were a bit off, but I was much too tired to do anything about it.

Yes,higher exposure but reduced contrast to soften. Then sharpening and a high end split tone adjustment.

Click on the hosted pics and the quality improves tho.

I use Imgur for hosting pics.

Love it. Great technical display for people who truly appreciate the nuts and bolts of the matter. If I owned an older Ferrari V12 I would seriously consider taking the bonnet off it because who cares about the bonnet?

See I use Imgur for all my reddit posts, must admit I've had more compression issues with them than any other. Seems everybody's a bit hit and miss nowadays, I do like the imageshack auto-resizing options, makes forum posts nice and simple, although I think imgur has something similar now too?

    Bah we'll have to see.

Thanks Jeffrey! Now don't leave us hanging on those knobs...

Knobs sorted. Modding and photography skills have parallel paths. I look at my early work and wince twice.

There some more room in the club? I wouldn't mind membership.

I updated all the photos btw, made them more in line with the edit you posted, must admit I'm much happier with these ones now. Serves me right for trying to do everything so late at night after a long day.

    Yeah if I compare:

Are you letting the host resize the pics?

    DO WANT.

I've always liked flat and/or wall mounted builds, but this is just a whole other level of excellent.

It puts literally everything I've ever done to shame. Kudos!

Very impressive build, it's made me wonder if this approach would have been a better approach to managing space than the build I'm currently working on, I'm both impressed and inspired!
