Thanks...and so on and so forth.

Thanks! Veneering is my favorite task.

    Thank you! :thumb::thumb:

    Thanks Jipa.

The third mystery forum is down under. I have been mistaken in the media for being an Aussie. Pretty sure that's not a bad thing.

    Thanks man! :thumb:

High praise indeed from the master! Thanks. :D

    Thanks Joe!

Been playing the fool out of Far Cry 4 on Ultra settings. Temps are reasonable but I want to redo the TIM. I'm using 10 year old Arctic Silver that I'm pretty sure expired 5 years ago. It's quieter with the cover off because of air flow through the mesh but having the cover off doesn't affect the temps at all.

Who said the cover was purely decorative? Can you imagine the damage done if that leaf had gotten through the grille? :D:D The "leaf" incident happened while I was setting up the video below. The leaf wasn't a setup, it just landed there.

Thanks to all who played along. It's been fun. :)

I've been seeing quite a few claims lately about some rigs being the "Most Powerful Compact Gaming PC" so I thought I would mention some actual numbers instead of just boasts.

So for comparison purposes I've created a metric I call "Firestrike Score Per Liter". Since Addison has a capacity of 10.6 liters its score is 975. If you want to claim to have the "World's Most Powerful Compact PC" then that is the score to beat. AFAIK and IMHO, blah blah.

I mention all this mainly because I have a reputation for building pretty boxes that don't really do much...and that's fair. Hopefully Addison's specs will sway those contest voters who seem unwilling to see past the raw numbers.

    I don't like it. :blah:

Joking, joking! It's gorgeous, of course. Great work on the flawless veneer. I'll have two, please. :D

Ha! You can't have one because I don't sell my work. I do it for the fun of it.

No "shelf 'o awesome" photo but I like to shoot a group photo now and then just as an excuse to knock the dust off. I have twelve other pieces but I ran out of table. Actually, I used this photo last year to illustrate to potential sponsors what my display would look like at Maker's Faire or some other event like that.

Maybe a similar photo but I'm fairly sure I've never posted a photo of my Project Orchestra on any modding site.

    That's this one...

But then again I did just turn 60 and age is a terrible thing. :)

    Thanks!

Thanks. I hope to someday display a large portion of my collection. I'm not sure where or how but it is certainly on my bucket list.

Thanks LH. Congrats on making The Today Show! That's worth a couple of million views at least. You deserve it. Remember us little guys when you're rich and famous :)
