They are a bit on the pricey side at £69.95 a kit, they do look really well made though. I don't suppose the range will be extended to Fractal Design or Thermaltake PSU's will it ? or any other brands for that matter ?

Unlikely atm I'd say, especially for Fractal as OcUK don't stock their products as far as I know. There's a chance of cross-brand compatibility if one brand happens to use the same OEM and the same connectors as those brands listed in the press release, but I'd say it was best to stick with listed compatibility to be sure :)

Thank you very much. I have learnt the art of braiding cables myself over the years and pretty pleased with the results I get.

These look very lux, but they cost almost as much a some of the PSU they are for. I really would love to pick up a set like this for my SS460FL-I though. Too bad they don't make a cheaper 'mini' set with just 24 pin, EPS, 2 6pin pci-e and a sata... I don't really need all those others.

Offering them a la carte would be nice - seems they're offering a pretty complete set, but it's more than most people would need

    £70 per kit.

They must be having a laugh.

I am never, ever, ever, going to spend that for coloured cables.

I braided many a cable in my years and when it came to my last build I just couldn't face the prospect of a full system again. The time it takes, the cost of the materials, frustration, swearing and broken ATX pin removal tools just wasn't worth it.

I specifically went for a Corsair power supply because they sold pre-braided cables. They cost over £75 (the ATX cable is sold separately to the peripheral cables) and to me were worth it for the look and ease.

If I was building my system again, I would certainly go for these cables as they look slightly better and are slightly cheaper. I also like that I would be able to have a choice of power supply manufacturer too.

Convenient good to go kits with OK range of colours, I like the fact they are skinny & don't use heat shrink, easier to manage & look better.
£70 is a good price IMO, cheaper than going full custom DIY & without the hassle.

I keep seeing that, but these seem to be the cheapest (good quality) pre-braided cables I can find, they're an order of magnitude cheaper than a custom job (think north of £120 for the same cables in this kit) and it saves hours of cable sleeving, which I hate.

Sleeved and coloured cables are a pretty specialist thing so they'll always be dearer than plain ones, but for the relative quality and number of parts these look pretty reasonable.

All that's missing is some SATA cables for drives...

I watched the OC3D review posted above & they come with SATA cables, it's a complete replacement set.

I meant the data cables as opposed to power, can't have a braided power set and then leave the cables from the drives to the board naked, that's just not on.

Even some short extensions would do, just so the loop where they connect to the board matches whilst the drive end is easily hidden.
