all this keyboard led lighting is ***** footing around. I want a 240 x 240 lcd screen on every key (spacebar res should be increased proportionally) only then will i be able to get rid of my monitor altogether and just focus on my keyboards entertainment system.

I'm very happy with my Qpad MK-85 but, RGB LED lighting would make it even better. :D

Scan used to sell one similar to that, but it was a full size keyboard and it cost a cool grand if I remember correctly.

Yes. That was the Maximus (Which is also listed on their site), but they don't make that one anymore.

I wonder if this uses Cherry MX switches, as it doesn't actually say in the press release. Corsair's exclusivity deal on the RGB switches has expired I believe, but the fact there's no mention of Cherry, plus the fact that they mention "60 million key presses" instead of Cherry's standard rating of 50 million, makes me think it will be using Kailh switches, as that's the same rating given to the Razer/Kailh switches in its BlackWidow Chroma. In which case, £150 is veeery steep.
