I needed a microcontroller with HID support to finish my trackball mod, so I bought a Teensy++ 2.0

Thought so ;) I must contact him and get the ball rolling, think I'm going to add another MR18 in the house as well because I found a bit of a WiFi dead spot over Christmas. Supporting walls are signal killers!

I finally bit the bullet and replaced my FT03's optical drive. Going from an Optiarc DVD burner to the Silverston SB02 BD burner, which is actually a Panasonic U265. Took 30 seconds to swap the drives and now I can watch Blu Rays on the PC! Hurrah!

They sound pretty sweet if you ask me, also only cost me £32 delivered from eBay (Customer returns) .

Fuji X-E1 with the 18-55mm f/2.8-4 kitlens ("customized" by the previous owner with a red thumbs-up and soft release).
There were quite a few things that started to irritate me about my 600D, and this was my second choice back when I first purchased it. So when I saw an X-E1 go cheap on eBay I took a shot and won the auction.
I love the feel, size and weight of this camera. (And call me a hipster, but I think its retro look is beautiful)
    I'll be selling my 600D.

The fact that the X-E1 is mirrorless opens up a whole new world of old lenses I can use, including old rangefinder lenses like the Industar-69 28mm f/2.8

(mounted on an M39-FX mount adapter)
Also bought this on the bay for the princely sum of €1 (... plus shipping costs).
Well, optically it's not stellar, but I'm certainly happy with the images it renders given what I paid for it.

    1x Punchdown tool
    1x cable Crimper
    1x cable tester
    1x Toner probe
    100x RJ45 cable ends

getting ready to move so grabbed some tools for getting the network in as I want when i get there, The tools are not that expensive but as long as they do the job I don't mind at this point.

i will upgrade them when the need arises

I have the old Model B 512MB sitting doing not much all, but I think I might get the new Pi 2, just looks very interesting.

What case is that? It looks like a little NUC, I love it!

Before you start running cables, check the tester works by using it on a pre-made cable. I ran a new line recently and tested it before plugging it in and my cheap tester showed no connection on 5 & 6. I faffed for a while but couldn't see any obvious faults. I gave up for the night thinking it was a broken wire somewhere in the cable but not before plugging both ends in just to see if it would even work.

It worked fine, gigabit speeds and all.

I then tried the tested on a pre-made cable and it also showed no connection on 5 & 6. I would have hated running a new cable only to find the same fault.

    Thats the plan.

Am going to take it into work and make a few short patch cables and use the tester to test em

Always good to hear. My Func MS-3 is ergonomically brilliant ( for palm grip ), but is riddled with issues; flaky software, overly finicky switching between profiles, terrible tracking at low speeds/small movements, clicks not registering, scroll wheel dying after only 13 months ( I thought I had it longer, but nope ), and Func's customer support is just lol. I registered the mouse on their website, then opened a support ticket stating that the scroll wheel was malfunctioning- they replied 5 days later and basically said 'that sounds like a hardware failure, sorry about that- please contact your re-seller for a replacement'. Not even gonna bother fighting the point of their advertised 2 year manufacturer warranty, not worth the effort for a mouse I know is riddled with so many issues.
