Really nice, did you dremel out part of the back and line it with that rubber stuff?

Good shout on the reference design. Love the Titan coolers!

Agreed, even in the FT03 Mini the MSI is very cool and very quite - why so few cards that use the reference design?

OEM coolers are cheaper than the NVTTM design (no cast metal shroud, cheaper axial flow fans rather than less common radial), so OEMs will use them when possible.

Yeah, it's a cost thing, which is a real shame.

I know the feeling. I have to use blowers in my FT03 as well, which is why my 780 is a Titan cooler as well (bought when they cost £550!).

But those fans in the FT02 are full of awesomeness...

And now, the waiting game. Will Glenn last until lunchtime without jamming his penis in a pencil sharpener to pass the time? Only time will tell.

I assume this is not right? Note the bent backplate.

    :jawdrop:

Definitely not! How the hell have they managed that? Was the card boxed and sealed?

If you have a vice or similar you can unscrew the backplate and correct it to avoid the delay of an RMA, but that's still pretty shocking.
