That's high enough to not tag a lung, push it through and go on.

I'm just wondering where he was stood so that he's take a hit- any one with an ounce of shooting safety knows to always be beside or behind the shooter. Unless the kid spun around and released the shot by accident, in which case no more archery for him...

As he's shooting barebow, he would probably be sighting down the arrow so I reckon his dad stepped in front of him to see where he was aiming.

Where's the one place all kids stick things to pretend they've been stabbed? Under their armpit.

    Where's the arrow?

That looks like it's embedded in his shoulder if you zoom into the picture. Chances are it wouldn't have gone too deep either considering that kid could only draw around 20lb.

Today I learned that Porkins' Wingman has an armpit where his shoulder should be...

Did he tell his son to get to the point?

I think he was too highly strung for parenthood.

Their father son bonding session was off target.

They were all a quiver to see how this turned up.

    That's what she said.

I was going to play Last Night on Earth with some friends this Friday, but they are having a birthday party for their son.

So I'm doing it next month. Thank goodness it isn't a leap year or I would have to wait much longer. Every now and then you'll get 14 months without one. It happened in 2012-13. It was awful. Not that I can't play my board game at any time. But Friday the 13th is a fun excuse.

    Well there's this:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/2v06c0/he_takes_it_rather_well/codztw9

...And the photo is too good quality/too staged and not candid looking enough, the bow is too expensive looking (maybe too big), the arrow is too traditional looking, the kid is still holding the bow in A&E, the guy is supporting the wrong arm, the arrow is in just the right place for a strap under the arm pit and over the shoulder...

Sorry, but that's not a sweet bow :) It's only a trainer take down bow that most clubs use for beginners :)
