    Id say #2 as well, i think the visible windows to the right of the shot make it more appealing...I have know idea why though

    Getting the last out of the beach weather. It's nice to break the "rules" sometimes and shoot in bright midday light.

    Though I do find the toe too close to the edge of the frame, compared to the finger.

    Funny story. The toe was actually outside the frame (yep, I'm an idiot), I copied and pasted from another shot.

    Oh, for her, that's relaxing. You should see some of the other shapes she can do!

    Shame about the bad weather. Here the sun was out for about a minute during the whole eclipse, and unfortunately before before the best part.

    Got me worried now, am I likely to have ruined my D3100 by taking pics of the eclipse without a solar filter?

    Obviously I didn't use the viewfinder, used the LCD instead.
