Are you secretly Irish Ian? Or at least half? :D

I haven't been celebrating St. Patrick's day at all, I've spent it in bed because I had consecutive gigs on Sunday and yesterday in Dublin and Naas. Got home at 6:30 this morning :)

Technically, you don't need one even if you watch TV daily... There is nothing they can do about it, have a look on internet about it :)

Hats off to your honesty though!

Just looking at a few budget summaries; minimum wage is going up 20p an hour from October ( up to £6.70 )- that's an extra ~£30 a month for me, yay :D

£33 and change iirc, what with the slight bump in the tax allowance too [based on NMW @ 37.5 hrs/week], no blowing it all at once...

Every little helps... /Bob Hoskins ( RIP ).

In other news, I successfully replaced the rotary encoder on my FUNC MS-3, now the scroll wheel works perfectly again ( and I have 9 spare encoders for future replacements  ), yay!

Gonna see if I can move the sniper button further back now, put it on a fly lead of something- my stubby thumb can't reach it properly in its current location...

EDIT: or maybe not, area is too crowded on the inside of the shell to do much, I shall just make do instead, bleh.

Caught pneumonia before it put me in the hospital. Pneumonia is a literal killer for people like me, so catching it with a trip to the ER for lung pain under my own power means I'm recuperating at home with my cats instead of the hospital on a ventilator.

I had my last session with the eye specialist yesterday to finish off the calibration for my colour correction lenses. With any luck, I'll get to pick them up next week and then I'll be able to get more enjoyment out of the games I play.

I don't know why I never looked into ChromaGen with my optician sooner, those lenses seem like they work so much better than the glasses I previously used.

We're moving house quite soon and today I have:

    • Booked removals
    • Got the money together for the bond & first month's rent - without having to dip into a credit card this time
    • Changed addresses for all the important utilities

We're going to see the new house again this afternoon, and I also had this through the post today:

And I worked from home today. In my pants. Because I can.

    Today is a happy day.

EDIT: TV License stuff... Was beaten to it one page ago...

IRELAND WON THE SIX NATIONS!! AGAIN!!!!!!

I watched the Irish and English matches, and both games were very entertaining. Fair play to the English for pulling out a 20 point lead over the French.

Glad for the Irish yet proud and disappointed for the English lads. Thought Wales played brilliantly against a very poor Italy ( you can only play against the opposition who turn up though) and believed there was no way Ireland or England stood a chance. The way Ireland then played and took they're opportunity so well had me writing off our boys but then England did all they could to come within one minute and 60 seconds of taking it all.

Think Ireland deserved it for the way they dismantled England at home but took great heart in the way a young English team tried to play attacking rugby throughout the tournament. My liver, however, now needs an extended vacation. Pub seemed rammed with similar amounts of home nation support and the drink has been flowing nicely all day.

    Well done Ireland.

New string makes my horn bow an awesome killer. Even without my thumb ring it's far more accurate.

Func mouse magically fixed itself after I changed the polling rate. Dear gawd, do not buy their mice, the hardware won't stand up to gaming and the software/firmware is junk.
