I've been on since about 8.45, and I haven't noticed any problems.

Bizarre. Perhaps forums.bit-tech.net was okay, but www.bit-tech.net wasn't?

isup.me definitely said that the site was down as well.

Been on all night and not noticed it being down, maybe it was bored waiting for someone to post so it had a little nap.

Is it just me, or is the forum running like an arthritic tortoise in a pool of treacle?

Are you running Firefox? I've been having no end of trouble in Firefox this week with dozens of timeouts, which all went away when I switched to Chrome. No idea why.

I did give Chrome a bash too, and whilst it was a bit quicker, it was still pretty slow. Even though Speedtest claims I'm getting my quoted 50Mbit line speed, the forums are about as fast as I'd expect if I were on a 2Mbit connection - not giving timeouts and the like, just being...a....bit...slow...to...load...pages...
