Had a brainwave & modded my Russian 91 with being sick of the frustration of trying to clamp the coil wire under the head of the screw (so fiddly), filed tiny channels for the coil wire to fit in to make clamping the coils down far better & easier, it works awesome, my biggest gripe with the russian solved. :)

    Perfect builds every time now.

I run out of my online orders so popped into my local shop... So expensive (£6 for 10ml)!

Can anyone recommend a place to order ingredients online so I can start mixing my own? I'd only really be looking to mix up mint/menthol, and would prefer going by a recommendation rather than throwing my cash at a cowboy outfit.

Apologies, I know this info is in the thread somewhere but I had a quick scan jumping pages and couldn't find it for the life of me. :/

Also while I'm on the subject, has anyone used an app called Liquix E-Liquid Calculator? I've heard pretty good things about it and was thinking about giving it a whirl.

Anyone tried Space Jam juice yet? Managed to get Omega and Pluto in a shop in Southampton whilst on holiday. Omega is peaches and cream, it's pretty beautiful. Pluto is watermelon, no idea why I got it as I don't like watermelons...

VG or PG can be bought on ebay at £8 a litre.
Nicotine is cheapest at chefsvapour or is the cheapest I've come across.

I've never been one for fruity vapes - tending to stick with the "Tobacco" flavoured ones.
I was exposed to some SpaceJam Pluto last week, and I Hnnggggh'd my pants off.

Is this a good way to dive into the better liquids?

£9 for 15ml which can go in 2 days in my subtank is proving to be very expensive....

DIY is where the savings are at Otis.
The mothers milk clone I made recently I cut 50/50 with PG so doubled my amount to 1.6 litres & it's really nice, that cost me less than £60.

I just see the ready made juices as good inspiration to make clones of. :D

    Unionvape is the way forward.
    3 x 100ml bottles for £19 ish.

I bought them ages ago and I'm just getting to the end of the first two now....

    :eeek::eeek:

    thealchemistscupboard.co.uk
100 ml Propylene Glycol / Vegetable Glycerine =£3
    72 Mg/ml Nicotine = £12
    Flavour £3 x 2 or 3

So about £20 quid give or take every couple of months

I like them (went apple, cherry and lime), as does my mate who put me onto them.
Not had any problems, but between that and the shite they sell in my local vape shop I'll take the Union stuff.....

Unionvape is mad cheap, surly is going to be nasty for that price?

is thealchemistscupboard's pre made stuff ok?
there not getting very good independent reviews.
Last time i had VG that low if was really rough. is the way i understand it right, that VG gives you a smoother vape but does not carry the flavors as well? so with higher PG you will get better flavors but it wont be as nice to use?

Looking around triphammer.co.uk seem to looks pretty good. positive independent feedback

I expect it would be fine, not tried it.
VG produces bigger clouds, PG lets you use less flavour concentrate, I did all my juices as high VG so put extra flavour in to have best of both, 1 of my juices was too thick so was prone to not soaking the wick enough, added PG & it was fine.

You could always buy high strength juice 24mg nicotine & dilute it 4x with 50/50 PG/VG, quadrupling the original bottle.

Was mentioned earlier in this thread, I've tried it & it works fine. :)

Never tried the alchemist cupboards pre made stuff so can't comment.
I use them for all my diy liquids, nicotine, VG and flavours, always been good for me.

    I vape 100% VG, less a little for the flavour concentrate @ 0.5 ohms @ 12ish mg.

But I'm not precious about my atties, use em for a week and bin em, hell they're only 2 quid a pop, or if I'm using kanger pre made coils in the RDA deck pennies each.
