I've been typing on Acer semi-mechanical switches this week. Surprisingly enjoyable! I probably shouldn't be too surprised as it's no different to the principle of the Model M. Anyone else tried these?

A couple of days with the PBTs and I like em!

They're a tad heavier and a bit thicker than the ABS stuff, but the feeling of them just works for me. It might be my Model M roots, but they're definitely working much better on both my Ducky Shine III TKL with Blues and my MX Brown Ducky Shine II.

First non corsair RGB board i've seen, although CCL only have it with reds but at only £115 that's a fair bit cheaper than expected.

Think that's just CCL not understanding what they're selling, as there's no mention of Cherry MX switches on the QPAD website. Would like to be proved wrong, as the price isn't terrible compared to Corsair... anyone seen one of these IRL?

that's a very good point, a bit of searching and I've managed to find a site which has pictures of the switches and one of the few readable words is Kailh

Is it just me or is £66.99 really cheap for a new Rapid-I?

That is cheap - I'm tempted, and I already have one.

The 60 million keystrokes mentioned on the product web page was a dead giveaway.

The description says its a working RMA return...not sure if that has any bearing on anything. Different warranty period or something maybe?

But yes, that is pretty cheap.

Yeah you won't get better than the 90 days mentioned on the ebay page. Still, £67 is probably less than they would go for second hand. I'm tempted too... but I just sold a board with Browns LOL :D

Anybody want in on V60 hype before I put them up for sale on the site?

Got a few MX and Matias, clicky, quiet and linear.

My oldest sons have a razer mech keyboard, I like the feel of it but I simply couldn't put up with the noise. Do those donut things work?
