Why sit a 200mm fan ...or an size of fan(s) behind a solid front panel?

Aren't the little cutouts on each side of the front panel for air intake?

Correct, though the point I made in the article still stands, I think - If there's only gonna be one fan, make it the exhaust.

Definitely - I was just pointing out that it didn't have a solid front panel. In pretty much every situation I would want at least 2 fans though - 1 intake and 1 exhaust...

Considering the reduced airflow and the orientation of the GPU I would think a second fan is a must.

Personally I would go with an AIO which not only would provide an additional fan as an exhaust but would remove the heat from the CPU allowing the GPU full use of any cool air inside.

For the price, this case would be in my top 3 but I still prefer the top-down nature of the Bit-Fenix Prodigy and Corsair 250D, with the 250D coming top.

Solid review as always from bit-tech. Pretty sweet looking lil' rig.

From a review/testing standpoint I imagine it'd be somewhat disappointing to see the case produce sub-par results due to the inclusion of the 200m w/o an exhaust, but I think Phanteks made the right call here.

By including the 200mm with the case, everyone can easily track down a 120mm fan to fill the rear exhaust slot and add even more fans (with or without the rad) to the roof rack if needed. Heck, most people likely have a few spare 120mm fans laying around. 200mm fans by comparison are more of a pain to choose since there are fewer options, and many are low quality. Phanteks frees potential buyers from having to fuss over the 200m decision. Likewise, if an owner is looking to fill the case with 120/140mm fans and remove the 200m intake, it's not a tough decision since they would then likely be purchasing multiple matching fans.
