I decided I needed a better more powerful computer for the CNC, So I thought why not let the CNC do the work then :)

Anyway the parts are as listed below

    Motherboard Asrock H61 MV-itx 1155 socket

    CPU intel 2500K

    HDD Seagate 750g Hybrid

The rest is still undecided atm

So to start a pic of the mobo and some sheet metal

Instead of endless renders here's the CNC software picture

    Before

    And after

I only have two things in my bag.
That scribble on the plate doesn't have a single 90degree edge. I like that.:D

    Correct :thumb:

Na I'll just remove some more walls :hehe:

Well side two today and two of them too lol just read that

Anyway this is what the CNC was doing on the reverse

So we end up with a 3mm recess on this side around the hole.

And a 2mm deep grove around the other side

Is that groove a perfect fit for one of your metal trash cans, or do you have other plans?

Yay, it's about time the devil made work for his idle hands! :p

Assuming those two plates are going to be end caps, is the centre section going to be tube-like in appearance? :cooldude:

A small update I cut out one of the side panel inserts from some 3mm copper plate.

    Cuts easy

    Fits perfectly
