God this is killing me - what is the expected earliest delivery date on this kind of thing? Never purchased from a CPU launch before.
So...released is not actually released, if they'll only be available to actually buy in 2/3 months?! Are we to expect some price cuts on the current range very soon?

reviews up everywhere now if you look ; IGP similar to haswell 15% improvement over sandy bridge - X99 cheaper and more cores
Whats funny is that according to Scott Wasson, the broadwell chip is slightly better for gaming than the 6700k (when paired with a discrete card). With the 5775C offering an edge in animation smoothness over the 6700k. Its often not huge but it's there none the less.
its to do with the promises regarding 14nm made to investors - you either admit you are wrong and the process isn't working , and the investors get jittery - or you actually release something (late) and then trumpet very loudly its on time replacement. broadwell should have been here last year.....
Ordered my i5 6600k, been itching to upgrade for far too long! Should be a 40-50% jump from my i5 760
Cant see too many second hand 4690k been avail. Performance dif is pretty small between Haswell and Skylake.
You think I'm going to dump out my L420 batch 4690K for Skylake??? Not happening It's a 5GHz plus chip
I was pleasantly surprised at RAM prices, £55 for Corsair's 8GB (2x4) 3000 Mhz CL15 kit seemed pretty good to me.
