Surprised how quiet this forum is

I aint been folding for ages now , been running boinic and doing other stuff ...may just see how this machine can fold for a few days or weeks ...here we go !

 

Have you got some new juicy hardware?

 

nahhh not for a while still running my 3770k and a 770gtx here just thought I would fire the old dog up for nostalgia , don't think I could keep up with the big boys now ...even though I do have a bit of hardware in this place I don't think the misses would like the lecky bill I used to run up a few years ago..Hope you all are doing well as it's been a long time since I visited this site ..been doing other stuff

Yeah only folding the odd day here and there , I turn it all off when I go to work and mostly leave it on over night . Had a few problems with the os windows 10 64 the past few days so just done a fresh install , all should be ok now ..Hard to believe this one machine can crunch more than all my old stuff used to and for a lot less money ..

 

I've bee doing a bit of musical chairs, but with gfx cards. Managed to pick up a pair of eVGA 780 classified Hydros..

The 2x hydros have gone into my main gaming... sorry, I mean work rig
the 2xAsus Poseidons 780s have come out, one going into my media server replacing my old GTX480. The other will go in my SQL server when that's built, and the 480 will go into my htpc downstairs - all ahead of the approaching cooler weather

Hopefully we wont need too many radiators on this year

Production rate has already stepped up a bit - from around 50k ppd to nearly 200k, and that's just switching over the 480 for a 780!!!!

 

Hoping to crack 50m by the end of November.

 

Good time to do some re-jigging ... in time for winter
