My GTX 980 Ti was pre-ordered for so long the Batman promotion expired and ran into the MGS promo... pretty chuffed to bits with that deal!
This is so funny it's painful... http://www.destructoid.com/the-only...hantom-pain-is-a-steam-installer-308547.phtml
In the words of jim sterling, **** konami! Since the internet here is stable but very low speed, physical media has become my saviour. This would have really hacked me off had I made the mistake of a preorder or not seen the article! Cheers bloggins.
Does anyone know the best place to get this game? £28 where MadMax came from for £12. But not any cheaper anywhere else?
I wonder if that's grounds for a return, since the boxed game doesn't actually contain the game or even part of the game.
Not ment to be any PC preload either. Sounds like another poor PC launch. Funny thing is it's cheaper to buy the ps4 version than the PC version.
Would have to be if the customer has poor internet & or restricted usage allowance, very bad move by feckonami. Still waiting for my key from cdkeys, I contacted them about it at 7AM & they told me 9 or 10AM GMT, flip knows what the hold up is. edit Got it.
Just completed the fourth mission, and I have to say everything about this game is incredible. EVERYTHING is turned up to 11. I can't believe how good it looks, while at the same time running like a dream (I'm running it on an overclocked 980Ti maxxed out at UHD, 4xAA and it's not missing a beat). So many little touches, like the skin on Snake's back actually changing shape as his muscles move when he's crawling along in the hospital - seriously, if you missed it, go back and have a look. EDIT: quality AO, 16XAA, 4XAA, 4XtransparencyAA and high texture filtering quality being set in NVCP. Getting a Solid 40-45FPS at UHD, which feels wonderfully smooth, probably due to good motion blurring.
My new rig is still in development awaiting parts so been playing on mid settings still a very impressive game. About 8 hours in just keep kidnapping people lol. But I keep going back to mad max two great games to keep me entertained for several months lol
32 hours later and I've kidnapped a few hundred people. And countless tanks. Oh god. So much armour. At this rate I'll have the entire Soviet army under my command.
Been playing and replaying Mission 3, there's so many ways to approach it that the mind boggles! From early gameplay videos I thought the 'Fulton' seemed like a cheap gimmick. Pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong, it's turning into a very fun feature.
