Weirdly enough this has made me a happy man. Took out my GTX980 and stock in an old 5870 and now play my favourite without it blacking out the screen.

Fantastic. On the train? Buffet car drinks fridges always look far too full for my liking. I hope you're doing your best to free up some space. :D

Yes, and I am! I'll need something to keep me going in the queue for the stadium... Then it's time for a good old sing song, right?

    Not. Jealous. At. All. :)

Go Live date was today. Router turned up in advance. Internet went live around 10:30am. Steam download speed tested this avo and I've gone from a download peak on BT fibre of 4.5MB/S to 7.1MB/S, so Day 1 and things are looking promising.....

I think the best way to describe that match was "a grind". I knew Fiji would be a challenge, but they pushed REALLY hard. We're lucky they didn't come away with a bonus point.

Yes indeed. They were quite a threat for a while during the second half.

I nearly chewed my fingernails AND fingers off - it was a bit tense in the second half! St. Mary's street was fun afterwards though. Just like old times [emoji2]

Started off the work week with a couple of those seemingly impossible tasks having no idea how I'd get through them, and finished the week feeling like a Cognos and mySQL reporting wizard (this being at the heart of said tasks).

As an added bonus, this is the first week since July that I've not left the UK once, and as even more of an added bonus I've not even had to leave the house for work, apart from lunch today (which was delicious, so I'll allow it).

    It's been a good week.

Indeed, you're not the only one feeling somewhat satisfied with his SQL achievements recently... Have had to manhandle a poorly implemented SQL Server Express instance and drag it kicking and screaming towards something that isn't a creaking mess (upgrade to Enterprise, off-box backups, cleanup of DBs and schemas used as a "dumping ground", implementing a proper star schema, etc).

Beat a Solutions Architect at his own game by fixing his ballsed up design.

Now to get him to agree to doing the backups properly...
